The plant is used to ease labor pain during birth. 4-5 leaves is boiled in 2 glasses of water, filtered and taken, ¼ - ½ a glass when labor starts, and then head to the hospital for delivery.
Other communities believe that when planted on a farm or homestead, it helps to arrest lightning
